On the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of July the Middlesex DX Group took to the airwaves again in VHF National Field Day.

This time from a new location JO00EW 167m above sea level.

The Callsign was M0MDG/P and the team consisted of.

This year we went into the restricted section and operated on 4 bands were as last year from IO91MP  we only worked two bands and Low Power.

Most of the team were assembled by 3pm friday afternoon and began to set up the masts, antenna's and tents. The Stations were set up on saturday morning

The weather could not have been better, compared to last years attrocious wind and rain.

By 12.00 on the saturday everything was in place, laptops working, no breakthrough or power problems...... and the sun was shining

All we need is a good steady flow of contacts from the start of the contest.

In our low power section last year we came overall fifth and this year we were looking to beat that in a bigger section.....
